Description:
The PeopleSoft Senior Time and Labor Analyst will support and maintain
the Peoplesoft Time and Labor application. A significant part of the job will
be to understand existing business processes supporting time capture from
multiple time and attendance systems. This individual will develop and redesign
business processes for the payroll area using PeopleSoft. Supports and provides
Project Management deliverables for testing, training, and support phases of
new implementations. Interacts with technical resources to translate functional
requirements into the PeopleSoft application. Has basic understanding of the
technology framework supporting PeopleSoft. Responsible for being the
administrator for the PeopleSoft Time and Labor application supporting the
payroll department. Understands PeopleSoft product development concepts
including user group meeting facilitation, software development, project
management, quality assurance and software version control. Communicates and
maintains relationships with Level 1 and Level 2 support organizations to
understand quality and support issues for consideration in future software
product releases. Interfaces with cross-functional teams where system interface
activity may occur. Creates project deliverables when needed. Familiarity with
project development methodology.
Requirements:
Four year degree in IT or related functional business area * 1-3 years of
experience in PeopleSoft 8.X implementations and/or support with a strong
knowledge of PeopleSoft Time and Labor * PS Query and SQL strongly preferred *
Technology awareness which requires thorough knowledge of the Internet,
understanding HRMS systems and strong PeopleSoft skills * Experience with
system and payroll time and labor process development and integration *
Intermediate system administrative skills with experience implementing Internet
or HRMS solutions *Experience in fit/gap sessions * Experience in evaluating
and developing business solution designs and related process re-engineering
steps * Highly proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and the Internet *
Highly motivated and able to work independently and effectively within a team
organization * Strong written and oral communication skills with a strong
customer orientation * Demonstrated diagnostic and problem solving skills *
Retail Point of Sale and Kronos system knowledge
