Hello, and a good day to all!
This is a general summary of the advice I have received re: conducting myself
in a panel interview.
Keep eye contact with all in the room (very important). Do not just address
the person who asked the question, but all. Need names / cards (if possible)
to send "thanks" to each individually.
My own experience was that it was much easier than I had anticipated. The
jist of all the advice I received about it was to basically prepare for it as I
would an normal one-on-one interview, anticipating all the tough questions that
could be asked of me. Also, when I made,or attempted to make eye contact, most
of the panel members were taking notes, so the eye contact was usually returned
to the one who asked the question.
Thanks
Bill Matthews
