PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT CITY OF MIDDLETOWN  02/02/07

The City of Middletown is seeking a qualified individual to fill the
position of Public Works Superintendent supervising, Parks, Streets and the
Municipal Garage. Starting salary range is $46,644 to $51,142 plus excellent
benefits package. Position is responsible for a full range of professional
and administrative work associated with public works in order to assist the
department director. The duties of the position are highly specialized,
require considerable independent discretion and the ability to motivate and
lead a workforce.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent supplemented by courses in
business or public administration or equivalent training and experience in
public works or related construction activities, including supervisory
experience.
