EXAMINATION ANNOUNCEMENT
For the position of
POLICE RECORDS SUPERVISOR
Eligibility: High School Diploma or equivalent with follow-on college
courses in public or business administration. Experience in supervision,
office administration, and customer service or any equivalent combination of
training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and
abilities.
Applications: Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. Friday,
February16, 2007, and may be obtained from the Citizens Service Center
located in the lobby of the City Building, One Donham Plaza, Middletown,
Ohio. Applications should be returned to the reception area of the City
Manager's Office, second floor of the City Building. EOE/Drug-Free
Workplace, No Application will be accepted after this deadline. An
application form must be filed to be eligible to take the examination.
Examination: A written examination will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2007
at 6:00 p.m. Applicants are to report at 5:45 p.m. to the Middletown Area
Senior Citizen's Building, 140 North Verity Parkway, Middletown, Ohio.
Picture I.D. required for admittance to examination. Calculators may be used
on the examination.
Scope of Examination: The examination will test the abilities of the
applicants to perform the duties of Senior Account Clerk.
Minimum Score: The minimum passing score on the written examination is 70%.
Salary Range: $37,034 to $48,836 plus excellent benefits.
Veterans: A copy of your DD214 must be submitted with the application to
receive veteran credit. A military veteran with over one year of service,
who has been honorably discharged and who attains a passing score, shall,
receive an additional credit of twenty percent of his or her total grade.
