Job Skills/Requirements

Basic Qualifications (candidate MUST possess to be considered):

MUST be US Citizen

Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check

Able to understand long term ECSS goals and impact on technical architecture

Knowledge of core business processes and data related requirements

Demonstrated the ability to integrate across multiple teams on a large
program

Basic understanding of the Oracle Product Suite (OPS) functionality

Expertise in development of all levels of architecture models, DoDAF
experience a plus

Developed comprehensive technical architectures across multiple business
units

Current knowledge of ERP systems and their technical requirements

Able to make decisions on hardware, software integration and communication
products

Experienced at gather technical requirements for multi-divisional ERP
implementation across many physical locations and able to translate these
requirements into hardware & software capabilities

Working Knowledge of Oracles Fusion Middleware

Understanding of developing solutions in a Service Oriented Architecture
using integration technologies such as Oracles BPEL

Understanding of technical issues affecting Oracle E-Business
implementations

Knowledge in physical database concepts

Understanding of Enterprise-wide data architecture

Understanding of the AF and Defense contracting

 

Principal Duties and Essential Functions:

Will work with the ECSS Solution Architect to help design and implement a
technical architecture that integrates the various aspects of the ECSS
solution

Focused on the infrastructure needed to support immediate Air Force mission
needs and monitoring technical trends that will enable future ECSS
capabilities

Will work with the Air Force and Team CSCs Solution Development, Systems
Engineering & Integration teams to determine all of the business
requirements to ensure that the various components of the technical
architecture (hardware, sys software, applications, middleware and
communication components integrate seamlessly 

Work with all teams to ensure the compliance of GCSS-AF, Equipment
Manufacturers and other applicable standards and practices

Focus on Technology, Data and Application aspect of the domains of change
while ensuring the integration of the solution requirements across all
domains of change including Business Processes, Organization, Location,
Data, Application and Technology

Support the Solution Architect, Transformation Executive and the Air Force
Data Czar to achieve the project goals and ensure customer satisfaction in
solution issues

Understand the GCSS-AF enterprise products, services and strategies

Coordinate with the Air Force and Team CSCs Systems Engineering &
Integration team to identify the technical architecture to ensure ECSS goals
and objectives are satisfied

Identify hardware and software requirements

Participate in providing Gap analysis, developing options, proposing a
solution, escalation of issue and gain alignment with resolution

Develop metrics and actions to optimize system performance and
maintainability

Responsible for integration ECSS architecture components with external ECSS
stakeholders such as DEAMS, DLA-BSM, DIHMRS, etc

Work with Solution Architect to research, analyze, & monitor technical
trends and applicability to future ECSS capabilities

Participate in the development of integration test strategy

Ensure that scope is identified and change requests are justified (or
rejected)

Identify risks and mitigations for effective risk management

Assists with overall program integration and change control

Integrate solution across domains of change (Business, Application, Data,
Technology, Organization, Location)

Keep up-to-date on project status through communication with the
Program/Project Manager

Education or Years of Experience Requirements:

Bachelors degree and 2 years experience in enterprise applications, plus
formal training.
