New Product Developer - Converged Products

Job Purpose
Work across multiple product lines and business units to develop new
products.  Investigate the viability of potential products and prioritize
based on a variety of metrics.  Then launch the products with the
appropriate organizations, handing them over to the organizations at the
most logical time.

Essential Functions
·Investigate the viability of potential products and how they could be
utilized in the Cincinnati Bell product mix across multiple product groups -
19%
·Ascertain consumer interest in potential products based on primary and
secondary market research - 19%
·Determine supportability of potential products by Cincinnati Bell's network
and its support groups - 19%
·Perform business case analyses on the potential products in order to
prioritize which new products to launch - 19%
·Work with multiple product and support groups to establish the launch plans
for the new products - 19%
·Depending on the complexity (how many groups) of the launch plans, either
hand off the launch or manage it for a time - 5%

Education
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Experience / Background
3 to 5 years

Previous Job Experience
·Experience in multiple roles in the company that can be leveraged to ensure
the quality rollout of new products
·Project Management
·Experience Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
·Experience pulling information from a variety of sources to utilize for a
common project

Special Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
·Able to perform Financial / Budgetary / Business Case Analysis
·Familiarity with Emerging Technologies / IP Services
