[jsfg_cinti] Network Project Leader - columbus

Qualified candidate will possess expertise with a network that
consists of at least 30 servers and at least 1000 users with at least
5 geographically diverse locations connected to a wide area network
(WAN).  Position is located in Columbus, OH.

Work directly with end-users with various levels of computer knowledge
and expertise to assist them in defining their needs regarding
equipment, software and overall (network) strategy.  Manage projects
including design and execution.  Research and develop technological
solutions for network connectivity, client-server application support,
multi-platform integration, and other Client MIS data processing and
telecommunications-related projects.  Represent the Client at
technical meetings with other vendor entities.  Develop techniques for
problem resolution.  Report status and any issues to Management. 
Coordinate resources from multiple areas within MIS, vendor support
organizations and the user community.  Develop requirements documents
and develop solutions to meet those requirements.  Submit weekly
status reports to Client.

Mandatory Requirements:
Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or (higher)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification (Windows NT
or higher) or Novell Certified Network Engineer (CNE) 4.x or higher
4 years experience in directing and managing major projects including
organizing staff, preparing project plans, determining resource
requirements, coordinate with vendors, in a large-scale wide area
network environment
3 years experience configuring and maintaining networking devices
including routers, repeaters, gateways and switches in a large-scale
wide area network environment
3 years experience working with the design, set-up and implementation
of a TCP/IP network, including development of IP architecture and
subnet layout and router and switch configurations switches in a
large-scale wide area network environment
2 years experience in detailed site analysis and design
3 years experience integrating client-server applications in multi
protocol environment in a large-scale wide area network environment
3 years experience troubleshooting switched networks using Cisco products
3 years experience configuring Cisco routers in a large-scale wide are
network environment
2 years experience troubleshooting using network protocol analysis
tools (e.g. packet sniffers)
2 years experience using Project Management tools such as Microsoft
Project

Preferred:

1 year experience with Microsoft Active Directory
2 years experience using Cisco Works and/or Cisco Works for Switched
Internets in a WAN environment
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Design
Professional (CCDP)
Project Management Professional (PMP) (or equivalent)
Associate's degree or higher in a technical field
1 year experience documenting network design with Visio (or equivalent
tool)
