Jamie:
I am not an HR professional but I would call him back on Monday am. He may
have had the best of intentions to return your call, but you never know what
came up when he hit the office in the morning. He is probably dealing with
unexpected alligators. Give him a chance to catch his breath and when you call
and if he feels good enough about you he may share the reasons for his delay.
Regardless, calling him Monday am would be ok. In the event you have already
heard from him, congratulations! Otherwise, the best of luck to you.
Sincerely,
Ed Hutchinson
