[jsfg_cinti] Re: Need HR Advice

My advice is to just wait until this afternoon. You've done all the right
things. The ball is now in their court. If you know one of your references
really well and feel comfortable doing it, you might call and ask if the
company has contacted him/her yet.

Good luck! Been there.

Importance: High

Dear JSFG Members,

I had an interview with the vice president of a company that went real
favorable. He indicated that he thought I was the right man for the job.
When I asked when he expected to make a decision he responded first thing
tomorrow morning! He said he needed to check out my references and then
indicated he would make me an offer. After the interview I immediately
called up all my references and told them what to expect, mostly by voice
mail. Upon returning home I sent an email to the VP thanking him for a
pleasant interview and that I would be looking forward to his morning call.

Here in is my dilemma: It is almost 10:30am and no phone call. Do I call
him? Or is that too desperate. Or should I just wait and pray.

Jamie
