Job Description
Job Title: National Account Manager (NAM)
Reports To: VP Sales & Marketing
Summary: Sells products for a sales force effectiveness organization to
the Fortune 1000 by performing the following duties.
Travel: 75%
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
* Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads,
based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry
ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
* Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and
prospective customers to build relationships, solicit orders and/or
communicates with prospective customers and clients by e-mail and phone.
* Develops and presents results-producing presentations focused on
the features, advantages and benefits linked to the clients' and/or
prospective customers' strategic operational, financial and/or marketing
strategy.
* Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for
orders obtained.
* Conducts thorough field studies to understand customer's
business reality and assist with integration of Carew terminology and
methodologies into daily activities and interactions.
* Prepares reports of business interactions and keeps expense
accounts.
* Works with customer organization's internal staff to keep
account activities and literature up to date.
* Tracks activity levels.
* Completes and submits (W)eekly (A)ctivity (R)eports and other
collateral as requested in a timely manner
* Develops and maintains Environmental Reality Reports for target
and key Customer Accounts
* Keeps CRM current.
* Develops and maintains relationships with contacts.
* Investigates and resolves customer problems.
* Attends trade shows.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one
to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental
regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and
respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and
the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, and proportions and percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,
