Dear all,
By now you have received one or two e-mails about this workshop given by
Tracy Sterling. It is an excellent workshop and will provide skills that are
in
high demand across many disciplines in the job market. Tracy will be at the
Monday meeting of JSFG on Feb 13th. She will do a presentation about the
workshop and you will be able to sign up at that time. Tracy is doing this
for
only the cost of the materials, $199. As Bruce mentioned this is normally a
workshop that costs around $800. This workshop requires at least 8 people
to sign up. She can take, I believe up to 15.
Please consider this workshop on Feb 22 and 23 from 8:30-5 each day. I have
included a summary of the workshop below.
Lynette Dean
Leadership Training Chairperson
Summary: Learn a team-based, collaborative approach to project management
that improves project results and can make you more marketable to potential
employers. Intended for everyone, regardless of experience, position or
industry, this hands-on, highly interactive two-day workshop immerses
participants in
easy-to-use techniques, with minimal lecture and maximum class involvement.
You'll learn how to create a charter and a project plan, how to monitor
project progress and control change, and much more.
This course is registered with Project Management Institute, so attendees
will receive a certificate of completion and 14 professional development units
toward PMP certification.
