JOB OPENINGS- Week of August 20, 2007
FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR (Full-time, 8am-5pm, may vary) Directs and
coordinates activities of food service facilities. Review food and beverage
lists submitted by each facility manager to determine that sufficient items
are ordered weekly. Inspects food service facilities to ensure that
equipment and buildings meet requirements of state and local health laws and
internal regulations. Analyzes information concerning facility operation
such as daily food sales, patron attendance, and labor costs to prepare
budget and to maintain cost control of facility operations. Inspects and
tastes prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation
regulations.
= Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or
experience.
AM/PM HOUSEKEEPING FLOOR INSPECTOR (Full-time, must be available for 1st and
2nd shift, weekends required) Responsible for the training and development
of Room Attendants. Inspects guest rooms, linen closets, corridors and
public space areas. Prepares rooms for VIP arrivals. Handles guest
complaints.
= Minimum of 1 year housekeeping and supervisory experience required.
ROOM ATTENDANT (Full-time, 1st shift available, weekends required)
Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel rooms. Cleans
bathtub, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces following
all safe chemicals handling procedures, strips and makes beds using fresh
linens daily, vacuums entire room, replenishes amenities, dusts and polishes
furniture.
= Previous hotel cleaning experience required.
HOUSEMAN (Full-time, 1st shift available, weekends required) Maintains
hotel premises in clean and orderly manner. Moves and arranges furniture as
directed or needed. Cleans, dusts and polishes metalwork in lobby, hallway
and lounge areas. Arranges decorations for special events. Cleans
bathrooms, guest rooms, stairways, etc. as assigned.
= Must be able to lift at least 25lbs. Previous hotel cleaning experience
required.
VALET (Full & Part-time, 2nd, 3pm-11pm, weekends required) Parks automobiles
for guests in parking garage. Places numbered tag on windshield of
automobile to be park and gives customer the matching tag to be used when
locating the parked automobile. Collects parking fee from guests.
Maintains cleanliness of driveway, garage and associated areas.
= Must have a valid driver license and proof of auto insurance. Must be
able to drive both 5 speed and automatic vehicle.
SECURITY AGENT (Full-time, must be available to work every shift, weekends
required) Ensures the safety and security of all guests and staff of the
hotel. Completes rounds of property on a scheduled basis. Initiates
follow-up on all investigations of crimes committed against property and
persons. Assists sick or injured guests, ensuring documentation and
disposition of disposition of reports.
= High school diploma and at least 1 year Security related experience
required. CPR and/or First Aid training preferred.
LINE COOK (Full-time, varied hours, weekends required)
Prepares all cold fruit and vegetable items, prepares hot prep items, stocks
food supplies, reads and understands recipes to ensures all items are made
correctly. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area.
= Previous cooking in a restaurant environment required.
