DIRECTOR OF ADMISSION AND FINANCIAL AID

Miami University Hamilton

Responsible for all areas of admission including recruitment, application
process, and financial aid; works closely with the Director of Marketing
supervises professional and support staff in the admission and financial aid
office and works closely with academic and administrative personnel in
recruiting and marketing efforts aimed at traditional, non-traditional, and
underrepresented students.

Requires a master's degree in college student personnel, higher education
administration, or closely related field and a minimum of 3 years
administrative and supervisory experience in higher education; a dynamic and
creative personality who works well with students, faculty, and staff;
ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent
interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills; familiarity with admission
objectives of an open admission campus, admission computer systems,
recruitment strategies, marketing and aspects of enrollment management.
Also desired is extensive supervisory experience in admission or financial
aid preferably in an institution with growing enrollments; experience in
creating and implementing diverse recruitment strategies and the ability to
motivate and inspire employees. Review of applications begins April 28, 2004
and will continue until the position is filled.  Expected start date is
August 1, 2004.

Proposed starting salary range is: $45,000 to $55,000.

DIRECTOR OF RECORDS AND REGISTRATION Miami University Middletown

Full time, 12 month position. Member of Enrollment Services team (Admission,
Financial Aid, and Records and Registration); direct campus registration and
records functions; implement/monitor University policies and procedures;
ensure FERPA compliance; coordinate course/room scheduling; provide and
analyze data for reporting/research; advise students on credit transfer
issues; supervise staff of three; work in coordination with University
registrar and Hamilton Campus records/registration office, oversee
Enrollment Services computer systems and capital equipment budget;
coordinate campus student data reporting. This is a hands-on position.

Requires master's degree, will consider bachelor's degree with registrar
experience, 3 -5 years registrar experience in higher education
institutional setting; ability to work cooperatively and proactively with
students, faculty and administration; experience with computerized
registration systems (Banner preferred) and web applications; strong data

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS OPERATION MANAGER Physical Facilities Department

This person will be directly responsible for the operation and maintenance o
f the medium voltage (12.47kv and 4.16kv) distribution systems on the Oxford
campus. The basic function will be management of the involved personnel.
annual budgets. maintenance, short and long, term capital improvement
planning, scheduling appropriate equipment operation and shutdowns and
continual system load monitoring. The purpose of this position is to create
an entity that monitors both budget and operations to provide cost efficient
and reliable utility services to the university community.

Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work
experience; maintenance and supervisory skills, demonstrated leadership;
budgeting and administration abilities; knowledge and experience in the
field of medium voltage system operation and the ability to develop and
implement short and long-range capital improvement plans.

Proposed starting salary range is: $52,000 to $55,000.
