Strong numbers and computers systems accounting specialist
Meridian Bioscience is a fully integrated life sciences company that 
manufactures, markets and distributes a broad range of innovative diagnostic 
test kits, purified reagents and related products and offers biopharmaceutical 
enabling technologies. Utilizing a variety of methods, these products provide 
accuracy, simplicity and speed in the early diagnosis and treatment of common 
medical conditions, such as gastrointestinal, viral, urinary and respiratory 
infections. 

We are currently looking for an accounting specialist who will be responsible 
for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, cash 
reconciliation, state. The primary duties for this position are: 
   Process accounts payable 
   Prepare and process journal entries 
   Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis. 
   Sales tax processing 
   Cash deposit management 
   Special projects involving computers, software and numbers. 
   Other duties as required.

 
This position desires an AA degree in Accounting / Business Administration or 
relevant experience along with strong ability to self teach software. 
Experience with Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word and Powerpoint, along 
with good spreadsheet skills, good communication skills (ability to communicate 
with internal and external customers) and 2-5 years experience in general 
accounting is also required
