We are currently looking for a Validation Engineer. This person will be 
responsible for writing and executing process manufacturing studies (IQ/OQ/PQ). 
They will assist in recommending and implementing improvements in manufacturing 
and packaging equipment and will supply troubleshooting and problem solving 
support to help resolve production related problems. They must maintain 
complete, thorough, up-to-date documentation. 
  As a Validation Engineer you will: 
    
   Participate in the development of validation protocols for raw materials, 
equipment, products, and processes.   
   Plan, schedule and perform validation activities according to written 
protocols.   
   Accurately accumulate, document and communicate validation data and 
activities.   
   Prepare and submit validation reports for approval.   
   Understand and assure conformance to cGMP, QSR and Meridian Bioscience 
Quality Systems.   
   Recognize, recommend, evaluate and implement steps to improve procedures and 
products.   
   Supply troubleshooting support to help identify the causes of 
product/production related problems.   
   Assist in the recommendation and implementation of automated manufacturing 
and packaging processes. 
  To be considered for this position, a candidate must have a BS/MS in 
Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 1-3 years experience in 
manufacturing process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) in the pharmaceutical or medical 
device industries. Experience with lyophilizers, autoclaves, liquid dispensers, 
labelers and other packaging equipment is a plus. Must have good management 
skill and the ability to communicate with scientists in other disciplines, 
including biochemistry and microbiology.
