Mechanical Engineers
 
Education Required:   BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
experience.
 
Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 to 7 years experience in the design, development and
testing of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices. 
Must have Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), Microsoft
Projects.
Experience with Solid Edge or similar package strongly preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD
& T) Principles.
Experience Preferred:
Dynamics Analysis experience preferred.

 


Job Requirement Summary

Willingness to work with explosive devices.
Support assigned Program objectives.
Provide schedule feedback to Program Managers for assigned tasks.
Write  Subcontract Data Requirement List (SDRL) items as required.
Generate design review documentation.
Generate detail designs from concepts.
Assist in the development of technical data package.
Perform and document structural analysis.
Perform and document stack-ups.
Build prototype hardware.
Manage prototype hardware inventory.
Track prototype hardware.
Document prototype hardware.
Design and document engineering tests.
Document engineering test results.
Perform engineering tests.
Design, document and build test fixtures.
Provide input to technical proposal.
Some travel required.
If necessary, must be eligible to receive a security clearance.
