A client located in New Jersey is seeking a Market Research Analyst.  Here
is more information:

This is an opportunity for a Market Research Analyst to join the Marketing
Group or a great pharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel
therapeutics for the treatment of osteoporosis, g.i. disorders, pain and
other debilitating diseases and disorders.

Position Criteria:

Researches, assimilates information, and analyzes, and interprets data from
multiple secondary sources to evaluate specific markets and perform
competitive analyses on pipeline products.
Provides the organization with secondary research support, including
subscription-based market data reports (such as IMS) on an ongoing basis.
Develops projections and provides analysis critical to the development of
market forecasts for pipeline products
Assesses new therapeutic markets and projects future market trends.
Works with New Product Planning and Product Management to support ongoing
market data needs.
Accesses specific databases and creates new formats or restructures
information for greatest utility for the marketing and corporate
development.
Assists and participates in the conduct of primary market research projects
through external contractors or consultants
Prepares and delivers professional presentations of market research findings
to the organization.
Supports financial analysis and valuation activities for Product Management
and Corporate Development
Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Qualifications:

Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent
Prior Experience in life-science (Pharmaceutical/Medical device) industry.
Minimum of three years Marketing experience, with at least one year Market
research experience.
Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint.
