Our client, a leading global distributor, is seeking a dynamic professional
to fill their highly visible and newly created position of *Manager of
Supply Chain - North America* in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. This individual
will work with the internal distribution, warehousing, sales and operations
teams in leading and directing the development of new service models for the
North American supply chain.



Responsibilities:



   - Primary contact for leading and developing new supply chain service
   models and routing optimization for North America
   - Responsible for determining how to leverage existing supply chain
   models within the North American supply chain network
   - Provide support and direction for new projects, new product research,
   assessment, test market development, and launch execution
   - Responsible for identifying and implementing appropriate mechanisms for
   tracking cost, service, and profitability


Experience:



   - Bachelor's Degree  (Business preferred)


   - 5-10 years experience in supply chain operations
   - Strong background in North American transportation and distribution
   operations
   - 5-10 years experience in carrier planning, route development and
   optimization
   - 3-5 years logistics modeling experience
   - Refrigerated transportation/distribution operations experience
   - Experience with I2 or Manugistics is preferred


   - Six Sigma certification preferred


   - Strong analytical and communication skills
   - Ability to work in cross-functional teams
   - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

 Compensation:



   - $90-$100k plus 401k plan and full benefits
