I?ve recently been contacted by a local consulting
firm looking for a market research analyst.
Responsibilities include:  primary marketing research
studies, analysis of client site?s web data, and
developing measuring techniques to understand whether
consumers are using the most important parts of the
web site.  

Skills Desired
·       Marketing research design (required) 
·       Advanced data analysis skills (required) 
·       Advanced MS Excel (required) 
·       Basic Statistics skills (strongly desired) 
·       Advanced SPSS or SAS (strongly desired) 
·       Advanced Cognos (strongly desired) 
·       Database design (SQL or Oracle) (desired) 
·       SQL query programming (desired) 
·       Advanced MS Access (desired) 
 
Industry Experience Desired
5-10 years experience in one or more of the following
areas:
·       Marketing research supplier or   internal     
department 
·       Direct marketing modeling 
·       Consumer panel data analysis 
·       Internet strategy 
·       Web analytics 
·       Financial/ROI Modeling 
·       Data warehouse analysis
