I know "library tour" might sound dull and out-of-date, but the class is
very good -- showing you how to researh companies, as well as identify
potential employers by type of business.  Most of the internet resources
you can access from your home.  After the main "tour", the librarians
are usually available to give you some one-on-one help getting started
with the tools.

The library has informed me that if we do not send a minimum of 5 people
to these events they will be cancelled.  I have received several reports
that this is a must attend event for job seekers.  Lots of great
information. Sign up at the General Membership Meeting, or by calling
the JSFG office at 513-871-0320.

LIBRARY TOUR: Job seekers can learn about print and internet resources
available to aid them in their job search.  Tour includes print media
and a computer database demonstration conducted by a knowledgeable
librarian at the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
Thursday, July 8, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM.

Hamilton County Public Library, downtown Cincinnati, 800 Vine St., 2nd
Floor, Government & Business Dept.

The Garfield Garage is the most cost-effective, convenient place to park
near the library. It's located JUST WEST of the Library on Ninth St. You
pay only $1.00 for the first 2 hours; you pay a maximum of $5.00 for the
whole day on weekdays; a maximum of $1.00 for the whole day on
Saturdays.
