[jsfg_cinti] Let's Kick It Up A Notch in 2007!

JSFG Members:
Happy NEW YEAR To You and Your Families.

January and February are key hiring months for the New Year.... I say let's 
KICK IT UP A NOTCH!

First, Don't miss our Meeting on January 2, 2007 at 9 am -  Chuck Sacks has 
arranged for Jennifer McClure to start us off with a session on "How to Work 
with a Recruiter".  I am sure this will be filled with ways to improve our 
effectiveness of this resource.

Secondly, Get your PROFILE updated. Take the time today or this weekend to 
update or enter your profile.

Third, Share JSFG... pass it on to someone you may know or to the church 
office or group you belong to.  In our 2006 survey, most folks found out 
about JSFG from a friend or contact.

Fourth, GET INVOLVED in JSFG... participate beyond the meeting.  Get your 
SIG going on a Job Fair, work as a back up to one of our program chairs and 
continue to volunteer at the office. Got some new ideas... share them with 
the group.

Fifth, Share your experiences.  Identify the companies you want to learn 
more about.  Use the Listserve to get information.

Sixth, Pay Your First Quarter Dues....we have expenses and the only way to 
pay them is Member Contributions.

Seventh, NETWORK... NETWORK and More NETWORKING... need help...Ask 
someone... Rick Shoemaker is the "King of Informational Interviews"... he's 
always glad to help.

Eighth, GET ORGANIZED... BE PREPARED.... De-Cluter Your Work Space...GET 
ENERGIZED

Ninth, Set a schedule for your Job Search and Maintain It.  Keep a diary or 
planner.

Tenth, TAKE TIME TO THANK THOSE WHO ARE YOUR SUPPORTERS, FRIENDS and 
FAMILY... It take a team to win at this game!
