      Job description: Will be responsible for the development of system 
concepts and designs as well as detailed digital signal processing algorithms 
that will be used to develop state-of-the-art receiver systems and digital 
signal processors for airborne ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and 
Reconnaissance) and Communication applications. Will provide problem 
statements/requirements from a senior engineer and will use these to perform 
analysis and design trades, develop initial system design concepts and DSP 
algorithms, verify the designs/algorithms, fully document their functionality 
and performance and transition the designs/algorithms to hardware, firmware and 
software engineers for prototyping and follow-on implementation. Applicant 
selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility 
requirements for access to classified information.  
      Requirements:   
      Requirements: - BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS in Electrical 
Engineering desired. - Must have a solid academic background and 0-2 years of 
industry experience in statistical signal processing of RF signals. Signal 
processing experience/expertise should include the areas of one and 
two-dimensional array processing, signal detection and parameter estimation. 
Direct experience with space-time adaptive processing is a plus. - Should have 
a working knowledge of communications system theory and design, radar theory 
and design, electromagnetics and antenna theory and design. - Must be highly 
proficient in developing signal processing models and algorithms and the 
simulation of these models and algorithms using MATLAB, MATHCAD or a high-level 
programming language such as C. Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet eligibility 
requirements for access to classified information
