IT Manager

UDS Project - Lexington, KY

Principal Duties:
* Provide onsite support, development, and management for vendor 
business systems installations.
* Order and maintain inventory of Information System equipment and software.
* Image, configure, and support laptops and desktop PCs.  Provide 
support to local and remote PC users.
* Develop and maintain IS policies and procedures.
* Hire and manage support staff as project evolves.
Requirements:
* 5 to 10 years' related experience.
* Hands on experience with Novell Netware, Microsoft server, and Windows 
2000 or XP Desktop Operating Systems.
* Experience installing and configuring networked laptops and desktops.
* Exceptional time management and customer service skills are essential.
* Demonstrated project management and systems implementation skills needed.
* Technical and/or project personnel management experience is necessary.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Education:  B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is 
required.
