I know that I've contacted you in the past about job opportunities and
hope you don't mind another query. I just began three new Internal
Communications searches for a global transportation company in the
Chicago suburbs, and I would like to ask for your help in assisting me
to find great candidates for these positions. 

Manager of Communications - Job #157
This newly-created position was established to develop and implement
corporate positioning programs designed to educate and inform employees
in a specific business unit of corporate news and issues. This position
will be responsible for providing internal and external strategic
communications support for the worldwide sales team, as well as
consulting on, developing and implementing an annual communication
strategy and plan to support overall corporate image, reputation and
brand management objectives. This individual will also be charged with
positioning the SVP, Sales within the company and externally as an
expert, available to speak as necessary. 

Manager of Communications -- Job #158
This newly-created position was established to develop and implement
corporate positioning programs designed to educate and inform employees
in a specific business unit of corporate news and issues. This position
will be responsible for providing internal and external strategic
communications support for a new division of the company, as well as
consulting on, developing and implementing an annual communication
strategy and plan to support overall corporate image, reputation and
brand management objectives. This individual will also be charged with
identifying opportunities for media exposure for key executives with
local, regional, national and trade media. 

Manager of Corporate and Employee Communications -- Job #160 
This individual will manage all communications planning and
implementation for large-scale corporate initiatives, including programs
designed to enhance employee understanding of the company's vision,
strategy, growth, goals and values. Responsibilities will include the
development of corporate, executive, and employee communications
strategies, as well as the creation and development of collateral
materials to support these efforts. This position will also be charged
with managing an internal and virtual team of content and creative
services experts as well as outside agency resources including external
contributors and freelancers. 

For each of these positions, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of
7-10 years experience in internal/employee communications, with
experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Must have
significant experience managing and developing employee communications
programs, as well as proven ability to effectively lead cross-functional
teams. Candidates must have superior business writing and editing
skills, as well as the ability to interface with all levels of employees
and management, as well as outside agencies. This company will look at
candidates from outside of the Chicago area, and will provide relocation
assistance.
