Responsibilities  
This position exists to perform a variety of advanced
tasks for the operation of LEXIS-NEXIS enterprise
systems and product offerings.  The incumbent
independently handles system problems and exceptions
across multiple operating environments, to ensure
timely delivery of services and problem recovery. 

The scheduled work shift is from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and alternating Saturday
nights.   Required to work Holidays. Candidate may be
required to rotate to other work shifts. Candidate may
be required to work at LexisNexis second datacenter in
Springfield, Ohio.  

Qualifications  
1. Experience with the HP Openview suite of products
is preferred, but not required. 
2. Demonstrated ability to create and maintain (Design
and coding as well as support) web-based tools is
preferred, but not required. 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
experience is preferred 

Salary commensurate with position and skills.  
1. Ability to work independently 
2. Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
3. Previous experience in performing operations or
system management functions in multiple system
environments (UNIX, MVS, NT) 
4. Knowledge of LEXIS-NEXIS system operations 
5. Proven ability to correlate events to reach a
common solution or advise management of options for
resolution. 
6. Demonstrated ability to review broad requirements
and create a solution is required. 
7. Demonstrated ability to review various metrics and
create a common monitoring solution is required.  

Other Information  
- The preferred level of education for this position
is Bachelor's Level Degree.  
- The following major/degree is preferred for the
position:Computer Science or MIS
