[jsfg_cinti] Job Skills Re-training and WIA funding

The Workforce Investment Act is federal legislation that funds agencies
that support what are termed "dislocated" and "adult" workers who are
unemployed. In this area, there are several different local offices,
called One Stops, which provide services. Each year the Workforce
Investment Act provides approximately 3 billion dollars of funding to
help those who are out of work get back in the workforce.

Recently the Butler County One Stop known as Workforce One temporarily
froze Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funds. To my knowledge funds have
not been frozen at the other One Stops.

If you have a question about WIA funding please drop me an email or call
me.
