My Client, a large retail company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, has a
permanent full-time position for a Data Warehouse Data Modeler/Database
Administration.

Job Description

Within the company, the Data Warehouse Application Infrastructure group is
responsible for the growth and care of the Enterprise Data Warehouse.  The
Enterprise Data Warehouse environment consists of a variety technology (UDB
EEE, RS/6000, Unix/AIX, TWS, Ab Initio, Erwin, Business Objects, Visual
Basic, Websphere, & more).  We are looking for an individual with a solid
background in Data Warehousing and working with very large databases.   The
candidate will be part of an application infrastructure team responsible for
developing the Data Warehouse Architectural strategy and ensuring that the
company meets that strategy.  The primary focus of the candidate will be in
the area of Data Modeling and Database Administration.  The candidate will
participate in the design, development, & support of Methods, Procedures,
and Tools to ensure a stable and efficient environment for the Data
Warehouse.
Duties
Design and development of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data
Models for the Data Warehouse.
Understand and develop business process & requirements as it
pertains to data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Develop a Metadata Strategy and processes.
