The City of Middletown is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position 
of Housing Code Specialist.  Position enforces various Federal, State, and 
local codes and  ordinances pertaining to housing and property maintenance 
nuisances.  Position requires issuing citations for offenses and appearing and 
testifyiing in court.
Requirements:
Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA) or Property Maintenance or 
Housing Inspector Certification required, or ability to obtain certification 
within 6 months of hire date.

Starting salary:  $33,794 to $37,034 with excellent benefits.
