Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for working with customers to provid=
e support for the company=E2=80=99s electronic patient record system, Chart=
Maxx, including embedded third party software and hardware.  ChartMaxx is a=
 mission critical, client/server application involving Windows and Web user=
 interfaces, document management, workflow, Oracle, UNIX servers, and hiera=
rchical storage management.

Principal Responsibilities:
=E2=80=A2=09Providing timely and accurate telephone support for customers i=
n order to resolve client software/hardware issues.   This work requires so=
phisticated trouble-shooting techniques to isolate and reproduce customer p=
roblems.
=E2=80=A2=09Where appropriate, design and implement configuration or progra=
mming changes necessary to resolve a problem.
=E2=80=A2=09Creating support documentation, including FAQ=E2=80=99s, techni=
cal notes, and documenting all issues and resolutions in our support tracki=
ng system.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
=E2=80=A2=09Strong technical troubleshooting skills for software, hardware,=
 and related network communications.
=E2=80=A2=09Strong oral and written communication skills, including the abi=
lity to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
=E2=80=A2=09Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware.
=E2=80=A2=09Strong analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situatio=
ns and develop solutions

Minimum Qualifications:
=E2=80=A2=09Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-jo=
b experience is preferred.
=E2=80=A2=09Experience with development or support of a large, client/serve=
r application.
=E2=80=A2=09Minimum 4-5 years experience working with:
1.=09Windows Operating systems (Win 2000 & XP)
2.=09Technical Customer Support
3.=09PC hardware and Peripherals
4.=09Networking
5.=09Windows servers
6.=09Citrix
7.=09Web based applications
=E2=80=A2=09Windows programming experience desired, but not required.
=E2=80=A2=09Occasional travel may be required.
