=EF=BF=BD         Analyzes product specifications and performance requireme=
nts to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or =
processing facilities and methods.
=EF=BF=BD         Determines feasibility of designing new products and/or m=
odifying existing products while considering costs, assembly, time limitati=
ons, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
=EF=BF=BD         Provides technical information concerning manufacturing o=
r processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and =
limitations which affect long range product engineering planning.
=EF=BF=BD         Confers with research personnel to clarify or resolve pro=
blems and develops design.
=EF=BF=BD         Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layo=
ut and detailed drawings and schematics.
=EF=BF=BD         Directs and coordinates manufacturing or building of prot=
otype product or system.
=EF=BF=BD         Prepares and presents presentations on products.
=EF=BF=BD         Prepares and presents job status reports.
=EF=BF=BD         Researches, writes, and presents technical papers in conj=
unction with affiliated professional societies.

Requirements_Qualif: Ability to develop creative and innovative solutions w=
hile working with minimal supervision.
=EF=BF=BD         Demonstrated ability to perform complex assignments on sc=
hedule with minimum supervision.
=EF=BF=BD         Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
=EF=BF=BD         Air travel required.
=EF=BF=BD         Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as a=
lgebra, calculus, linear algebra, and trigonometry. Ability to apply mathem=
atical operations to such tasks as curve fitting, transforms, optics, and s=
ystem modeling.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE=20
=EF=BF=BD         BSME or equivalent experience.
=EF=BF=BD         Knowledge of 3-D SolidWorks, Pro Engineer, MS Office, MS =
Project, MS NT Server/Workstation.
=EF=BF=BD         Excellent oral and written communication skills.
=EF=BF=BD         Strong understanding of packaging methods particularly re=
lated to electronic equipment in shock and vibration environments.
