services.  We are currently seeking a Sourcing Manager to be based in 
Cincinnati, OH.

The Sourcing Manager will work as a cross- functional leader developing 
strategic supply chain partners globally in an effort to reduce costs while 
improving product consistency. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the 
development of a high performance supply chain sourcing team focusing on 
innovative products and processes of global suppliers.

Major responsibilities include:
�       Develop and manage business relationships with external suppliers to 
include negotiating; contracts, quality, and service requirements.
�       Lead the implementation of global sourcing activities to meet company 
strategic initiatives.
�       Ensure source selection is effectively managed to optimize; costs, 
capacity planning, quality and delivery requirements.
�       Act as a corporate liaison between Standard Textile�s non-US 
manufacturing operations in the areas of; production planning and scheduling, 
product development, communication of product specifications, and day-to-day 
business issues.
�       Analyze industry trends to assess short and long term strategic 
sourcing objectives by geographical regions to ensure leading-edge cost 
competitiveness of STC products.
�       Establish and maintain a supplier matrix to include: manufacturing 
capabilities, core competencies and historical pricing from global suppliers.
�       Monitor and track sourcing Key Performance Indicators (KPI�s) including 
factory delivery performance, factory capacity versus demand, quality assurance 
rating and quota restraints where applicable.

Requirements include:
�       Bachelor�s Degree in operations, textiles or related field, an MBA is 
preferred.
�       3-5 years management experience in; sourcing, merchandising or 
purchasing, for a global business.
�       Extensive sourcing and negotiating skills, with sound base of costing 
using current raw material prices as a benchmark for end use products, is 
required. Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Must use 
interpersonal skills to develop and build effective relationships within the 
organization as well as with suppliers. 
�       Must be technically minded and able to qualify supplier�s manufacturing 
capabilities. Must be knowledgeable on related legislation, duties, quotas and 
customs requirements for textiles.
�       Fluency in a 2nd language is preferred but not required.
�       Travel, including international destinations, up to 35% may be required.
