The Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) of Cincinnati is seeking to fill a Se=
nior Engineer/Engineer Intern position in the Flood Control Section of the =
Stormwater Management Utility.  A Bachelor=EF=BF=BDs Degree in Mechanical o=
r Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university is prefer=
red.  The successful candidate will be responsible to:

=EF=BF=BD=09Supervise and manage flood control activities for the Utility. =

=EF=BF=BD=09Use maintenance reliability engineering tools and strategies to=
 improve equipment reliability for flood control equipment and associated f=
acilities. =20
=EF=BF=BD=09Supervise and coordinate flood control activation procedures, i=
ncluding gate erections, inspections, valve closures, etc.
=EF=BF=BD=09Proactively manage inspections, maintenance, and repairs of equ=
ipment using the existing Maximo work order database.
=EF=BF=BD=09Plan, develop, and manage the Utility=EF=BF=BDs Capital Improve=
ment Program and operating budget pertaining to flood control infrastructur=
e.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Each applicant must have a Bachelor=EF=BF=BDs Degree in En=
gineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, from an accredit=
ed college or university. The applicant must be a registered Professional E=
ngineer (P.E.) in the State of Ohio, or in a state with equivalent registra=
tion requirements. If registered in another state, Ohio registration must b=
e obtained within the one-year probationary period. To qualify as an Engine=
er Intern, each applicant must have completed a Bachelor=EF=BF=BDs degree f=
rom an accredited college or university in mechanical or electrical enginee=
ring or have passed the fundamentals of engineering exam (E.I.).  All requi=
red experience must have occurred within the last (5) five years. You are r=
equired to show or mail a copy of your valid driver's license to the Human =
Resources Department staff. Must be a Hamilton County, Ohio, resident at th=
e time of appointment.
