-General Summary:  Under the direction of the Site Quality Manager and Seni=
or Supplier Quality Engineer, the Quality Supplier Auditor performs supplie=
r quality system audits for the purpose of determining supplier compliance =
to the applicable company, FDA and ISO requirements. The position supports =
the efforts of Quality, Purchasing, Engineering and R&D related to supplier=
s.  These duties have a significant impact on product fitness for use, cust=
omer satisfaction and accomplishments of site cost reduction objectives.

-Evaluate supplier=EF=BF=BDs Quality System for compliance to the standards=
 required by company using audits of supplier=EF=BF=BDs facilities or other=
 appropriate measures

-Develop supplier audit schedule with input from the other site departments

-Recommend supplier changes based on evaluation results

-Act as an education facilitator for supplier use of six sigma tools to imp=
rove suppliers manufacturing Quality, process capability and cost reduction=
s

-Conduct Supplier Quality System audits to assure compliance with domestic =
and international requirements

-Seek out and apply best quality assurance methods and practices in support=
 of Quality objectives

-Provide backup support for the Receiving Inspection functions

-Establish supplier quality expectations and insure supplier performance to=
 meet expectations

-Carry out other special assignments as directed by the Site Quality Manage=
r


Location: Cincinnati
Requirements_Qualif: -Minimum bachelors degree

-Professional certification as a Quality Auditor and/or Quality Engineer wi=
th two years of working experience

-Six Sigma Green Belt certification training and successful implementation =
of six sigma tools preferred

-Understanding of international standards and the FDA Quality System Regula=
tion

-Knowledge of design of experiments and other advanced methods of product a=
nd process evaluation

-Must be a self-starter who can be effective working with general direction=
s and minimum supervision

-Strong interpersonal skills for change agent and team building

-Strong written and verbal skills

-Ability to use computer systems to efficiently perform job duties

-Able to function in a =EF=BF=BDhands on=EF=BF=BD environment; spend time o=
n the production floor with long-tenured employees in union environment

-Able to interact with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Purchasing, Six Sig=
ma project teams
