Job Summary:  The technical position is responsible for performing a variet=
y of quality assurance activities with in the MedPlus software product deve=
lopment organization. MedPlus software is focused on the management of medi=
cal records and laboratory test orders and results. This position is focuse=
d on development of test environments, test plans and test programs for a v=
ariety of message based interfaces across multiple products.

Principal Responsibilities:
1.=09Participates in the review of new product requirements. Provides const=
ructive feedback about the consistency and depth of the requirements.=20
2.=09Identifies tests that are most appropriate for automation, creates and=
 maintains both automated and manual tests, and applies techniques that ins=
ure maintainable test assets.=20
3.=09Defines, developes and executes test strategies considering risk and c=
ost of testing.=20
4.=09Supports the creation of project plans and activities that track progr=
ess against those plans.=20
5.=09Design, development and maintenance of test assets. These assets will =
likely include Web Services client programs, test scripts for automated loa=
d testing activities, test scripts for functional testing activities.
6.=09Execution of test plans=20
7.=09Work with development engineers to identify and resolve defects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1.=09Experience Test Director is desirable.=20
2.=09Experience of SQL and Oracle a plus
3.=09Experience with Weblogic is a plus
4.=09Experience with reviewing and chellenging requirements
5.=09Experience designing and implementing test plans.
6.=09Knowledge of  HTTP, HTML, XML, SOAP or WebServices=20
7.=09Knowledge of HL7, NCPDP, 270/271 messages are a plus
8.=09Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
9.=09Ability to adapt and quickly refocus in an agile software development =
environment.
10.=09Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
11.=09Ability to understand the features and customer expectations of assig=
ned responsibilities=20
12.=09Ablility to understand architecture of assigned product. Can identify=
 and describe major components and public interfaces.=20

Requirements_Qualif: Minimum Qualifications:
1.=09Experience creating software test assets=20
2.=09Bachelor=EF=BF=BDs degree in computer science/information systems or e=
quivilent experience.
3.=09Two years of experience in a formal QA role in a software development =
organization or equivilent experience.
4.=09Two years of experience in running SQL statements, preferably Oracle
5.=09Experience testing in a Unix/Linux test environment=20
