Examples of Duties Performed:
This list of duties is not exhaustive, and duties may be added, deleted or 
changed at any time without notice.
1.Operate Crispin software and maintain database(s) for use with commercial and 
news playback systems.  Operate DVC and ½" tape machines, Omneon and Grass 
Valley K2 servers for recording and playback to air commercials, programs and 
news material.

2.Set up and operate satellite and ENG type receive equipment for recording 
programs, commercials or other feeds.  Set up and operate satellite 
transmission equipment.

3.Operate all Master Control equipment.  Responsible for switching commercials 
and program material to air with the correct audio and video levels and 
inserting associated keys.

4.Responsible for monitoring EAS and other emergency alert systems and taking 
appropriate action as outlined in procedural manuals.  Responsible for 
maintaining commercial and equipment logs.

5.Monitor transmitter remote control equipment and take appropriate action as 
needed.

6.Setup and operate production switcher for News and other local material as 
instructed by a director.  Operate camera controls and maintain proper video 
levels.   Mix on air audio for News and other local material.  Set up and 
operate IFB systems and all other audio equipment.

7.Perform other duties as directed by the News Production Manager.

Requirements:
Education:                 College courses in broadcasting/telecommunications 
or equivalent
                                  Experience required.  College degree in 
related field preferred.

Experience:               A minimum of two years in TV broadcast. 

Skills/Abilities:  Ability to take direction and work well with others in a 
team environment.      
 Familiarity with Windows and Mac based operating systems a plus.    
 Must be available to work early morning, late night, weekend and overtime
                                  hours.
