immediate opening for a New Accounts Manager.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for providing the daily leadership and overall direction to the New 
Accounts Department that processes private label credit applications, supports 
quality and efficient customer service, and ensures compliance with all 
regulatory requirements and company policies.  Responsible for process 
improvements, and for reviewing and interpreting credit bureau information.  
Direct the development, analysis and implementation of performance objectives, 
staffing, training, scheduling and reward/recognition programs.  Demonstrates 
ownership of the overall department performance by supporting, motivating and 
creating a positive work environment for all Associates.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Manages supervisory team and staff so that customer service calls are 
answered in a timely, efficient and knowledgeable manner and meeting 
department/company objectives.  Solicit and respond to continual evaluation of 
processes, procedures and staffing resources.  Responsible for implementing 
methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both internal and 
external customers.
2.      Assists in preparing effective budgets and manages the operations in 
compliance with the approved budget.
3.      Manage the department operations to include the development, analysis 
and implementation of performance objectives, staffing, training, scheduling, 
payroll and reward/recognition programs.  Work as a facilitating member/leader 
of special or on-going projects that are important to area/process improvement.
4.      Provide statistical and effective performance feedback and coaching on 
a regular basis to supervisory team.  Write and administer performance reviews 
for skill improvement.  Monitors and evaluates staff performance levels and 
develops performance improvement plans to meet projected needs and departmental 
and individual objectives.
5.      Insure supervisory team and staff has appropriate training and other 
resources to perform their jobs.  Identify, train and/or coordinate with other 
departments regarding resource, training and development needs.
6.      Coordinates and administers personnel policies and procedures related 
to interview, selection and hiring practices.
7.      Reinforce importance of meeting departmental goals and objectives.  
Provides ongoing feedback, coaching and training to meet performance objectives.
8.      Establish an effective flow of information to ensure that employee 
relations issues can be solved in responsive manner; create and maintain a 
quality work environment so team members are motivated to perform at their 
highest level.
9.      Address disciplinary and/or performance problems according to company 
policy.  Prepare and communicate documentation with associates.  Make 
effective/appropriate decisions relative to corrective action as required.
10.     Manage the department operations to include the development, analysis 
and implementation of staffing, training, scheduling, payroll and 
reward/recognition programs.  Work as a facilitating member/leader of special 
or on-going projects that are important to area/process improvement.
11.     Establish work procedures and processes that support company, 
departmental, and compliance standards, procedures and strategic directives.  
Develops, analyzes reports as required; makes appropriate recommendations 
and/or decisions. 
12.     Model and execute appropriate judgment in upward communication 
regarding department or associate concerns.
13.     Keeps supervisory team informed of company information, policy changes 
and compliance updates in a timely manner. 
14.     Ensures departmental adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory 
guidelines and law as applicable by Federal and State laws (including but not 
limited to CRA, Privacy, SAR, CIP, Disaster Recovery, ECOA/Reg. B, FCRA, OFAC, 
OFAC/FinCEN, TILA/Reg. Z).
15.     Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as 
immediate manager, other managers, supervisors and employees, subordinates, 
corporate officials and employees, vendors, community organizations, and 
general public.

Additional Job Functions
1.      Secures technical assistance, where needed, to improve the performance 
of the New Accounts operations.
2.      Work as a facilitating member/leader of special or on-going projects 
for the Company.
3.      Performs routine administrative/office tasks as required, including but 
not limited to preparing reports and correspondence, entering computer data, 
reviewing mail and literature, attending meetings, etc.
4.      Performs related duties as assigned.
