several major contracts over the past several years. 

Responsibilities Include: 

� Review and evaluate daily production results to identify opportunities for 
scrap reduction, improved efficiencies and maintenance of safety standards. 

� Utilize engineering principles to identify, analyze and correct manufacturing 
processes and equipment issues. 

� Provide hands-on troubleshooting for maintenance of equipment (electrical, 
hydraulic and pneumatic). Assist with ordering of maintenance supplies as 
necessary. 

� Create, edit and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for 
manufacturing equipment. 

� Evaluate and design tooling for use in high-temperature compression molding 
of composite parts. 

� Assess manufacturing needs related to facilities and equipment. Make 
recommendations for addressing needs in-house vs. subcontract based on cost 
analysis. 

� Serve as contractor point-person for process related equipment maintenance 
and installation. Create appropriate documentation to monitor contractor 
activity. 

� Assist with new product development including materials and technologies. 

� Work with functional managers to develop and implement formal Continuous 
Improvement program.

Requirements_Qualif: � B.S. degree preferred in engineering discipline 
(preferably Mechanical or Electrical). 

� Previous experience in aerospace / composites industry with emphasis in 
high-temperature compression molding processes is highly preferred. 

� Extensive experience in all aspects of tooling design (CAD, creating prints, 
materials selection) 

� Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC�s 

� Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD) 

� "Hands-on" position. Must be able to roll up your sleeves and work in the 
manufacturing environment. 

� Have a passion for manufacturing along with demonstrated instances of both 
resourcefulness and adaptability. Shown creativity in solving past problems 
that have been encountered and new ways of doing things 

� Strong listening and communicating skills for working with all levels of the 
organization. 

� Dynamic self-starter with exceptional organizational skills. Proven track 
record of being results and performance driven
