The City of Middletown is accepting applications for the position of Mechanic.  
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED with experience in repairing motor and equipment 
units, buses, vehicles, and apparatus.  Applicants must possess a valid Ohio 
Drivers License.
Necessary Special Requirements:
Must obtain a CDL with proper endorsements (passenger bus with no-passenger 
restriction, Class A; combination vehicle and air brakes) and EPA 608 and 609 
certification to comply with EPA regulations regarding the handling of Freon, 
within six months of probationary period.

Salary:
$34,445 to $41,558 plus excellent benefits.  Application packets may be 
obtained int eh Community Services Office, located on the second floor of the 
City Building, One Donham Plaze, Middletown, Ohio and must be filed by 5 pm 
Friday, November 30, 2007.  EOE/Drug free workplace
