Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory/Management:
=EF=BF=BD=09Provide feedback, coaching and guidance to ISR=EF=BF=BDs on a d=
aily basis.
=EF=BF=BD=09Supervise Inside Sales personnel on day-to-day basis, allowing =
autonomy, but intervening when: there is a problem or potential difficulty,=
 when there is a conflict with the DM/ISR team, performance standards are n=
ot being met, or it is requested by the ISR or upper management.
=EF=BF=BD=09Implement sales and marketing strategies in conjunction with IS=
R, DM, NSM, Business Manager and VP of Sales
=EF=BF=BD=09Compose performance review based on observation, input from Dis=
trict Manager, and internal statistics and give that review to the ISR at f=
irst 6 months and annual review time thereafter.
=EF=BF=BD=09Direct and educate ISRs as to their role in pursuing grant and =
other windfall funding.
=EF=BF=BD=09Provide input to upper management regarding territory re-alignm=
ent (usually only once per year).
=EF=BF=BD=09Present territory re-alignment to relevant (affected) ISR.
=EF=BF=BD=09Assign ISR to take incoming calls and cover territory for DM wh=
en there are ISR openings.
=EF=BF=BD=09Over see scheduling and planning of territories=EF=BF=BD produc=
t seminars by asking for ISR/DM teams to commit to a location and date for =
 their seminar, reviewing seminar procedures with the ISR once the seminar =

lanning process to make sure the seminar is on track.

Training:

t includes:  observation of other ISR=EF=BF=BDs, review of policies and pro=
cedures, tour of the Chanute facility, presentations by product managers, a=
dministrative staff, order entry, bids and quotes specialist and advertisin=
g coordinator, radar feature and benefits, observation and coaching of new =
ISR.
=EF=BF=BD=09Answer ISR questions as they arise on various products, product=
 history, information resources, pricing, policies, unusual situations, etc=
=EF=BF=BD
=EF=BF=BD=09Listen, observe and provide feedback on sales calls with each I=
SR approximately once per month by using a y connector and headset.
=EF=BF=BD=09Plan training exercises, give product quizzes, and assign compe=
titive presentations for weekly or bi-weekly ISR meetings.

Internal Communication:
=EF=BF=BD=09Address recent key issues at weekly or bi-weekly ISR meetings.
=EF=BF=BD=09Compose copy and distribute memos on departmental issues to ISR=
s and all affected parties.
=EF=BF=BD=09Provide a weekly report to senior management and participate in=
 SOP meetings.
=EF=BF=BD=09Frequently update the ISRs and management on status with regard=
 to incentive programs, accounts remaining to be contracted and individual =
contact requirements by preparing and distributing spreadsheets.
=EF=BF=BD=09Prepare and present spreadsheets and graphs of ISR contact perf=
ormance as needed


Recruiting & Retention:
=EF=BF=BD=09Take part in interviews and provide feedback regarding Inside S=
ales candidates.
=EF=BF=BD=09Do whatever is necessary to assist with coordination of off-sit=
e recruiting efforts.  This may include: registering for career fairs, corr=
esponding with career centers & colleges, contacting colleges to set up int=
erviews, conducting preliminary interview phone screens, giving presentatio=
ns, conducting interview, and participating in career fairs.
=EF=BF=BD=09Contribute to brainstorming sessions regarding new methods of r=
ecruiting.
=EF=BF=BD=09Give input and make recommendations on ISR staffing issues with=
 VP, HR and NSM.
=EF=BF=BD=09Maintain or develop employee retention strategies with Human Re=
sources and Sales management.

Customer Contact:
=EF=BF=BD=09Serve as a back-up contact for customers when short staffed.
=EF=BF=BD=09Assist with customers who are dissatisfied with previous contac=
ts or unwilling to wait for their regular ISR.
