-Act as the liaison between the client, carrier, shipper and receiver=20
-Negotiate fair rates with both the client and the carrier based on the typ=
e of commodity, season, distance of travel and time and location of pick up=
 and delivery=20
-Manage the movement of the client=EF=BF=BDs goods, ensuring they are picke=
d up and delivered on time to the client=EF=BF=BDs satisfaction=20
-Build a portfolio of clients by actively researching and seeking out prosp=
ects=20
-Develop relationships with these clients and strengthen your client base b=
y providing excellent customer service=20

Tasks Performed:=20
-Assist with daily load activities to ensure that goods are picked up and d=
elivered on time=20
-Locate carriers for negotiated loads=20
-Communicate at least twice a day with the carrier during transport, from p=
ick-up to delivery=20
-Accurately enters and maintains up-to-date information on a continuous bas=
is in the Load Manager Database system=20
-Work quickly to resolve problems that may develop on a load=20
-Actively participate in training programs, both classroom and on the job, =
readily accepting feedback and suggestions for improvement =20
-Generating leads and prospecting for new accounts-

Occasionally take calls during the evening and weekends, and must work half=
 days 3 Saturdays a month and 4 - 4 hour night shifts during the training p=
eriod.=20

-At least 25 wpm typing skills=20
-Able to simultaneously handle multiple phone lines =20
