Primarily responsible for supporting and enhancing CommoditiesXL (Duke Energy's 
trade capture, settlement, and accounting system). The work location is on the 
Cincinnati trading floor, and the developer be interfacing with business users 
on a day-to-day basis. 

Role also includes periodic hands-on and on-call montoring of the production 
system and jobs, which will require occasional off-hour and weekend duty.


Java -- 3 years of significant coding 

Oracle -- 3 years 

Javascript or JSP web app development -- 1 year 

Experience with n-tier architecture 

Ability to think analytically and independently 

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment 

Temperament suited to high-performance environment 

Desire to learn business and communicate with end users 

Knowledge of commodity trading and settlement systems
