Up to $80,000/yr.



DUTIES:

-This position is in a major city in Texas

-Manage Product Content and Product Organization through all editorial
stages

-Manuscript development, review, revise, pages, and final film, to include
multimedia materials

-Responsible for staff development



REQUIREMENTS:

-Masters Degree in Mathematics required
-7 years educational editorial experience required.
-Teaching experience required
-2 years management experience required, including managing projects, staff
and budget
-Thorough knowledge of publishing process

            -Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

-Good time management skills

-Thorough knowledge of education and education market

-Works well with little direction

-Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and create successful products in key
markets

-Ability to develop and administer selected plate and expense budgets

-Ability to identify appropriate authors and vendors and conduct
negotiations with clearly defined terms

-Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems

-Ability to work well with other staff members

-Ability to make presentations to large groups when appropriate.
-This position will be required to sit and work at a computer for long
periods of time
