JobDescript: SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Estimator is responsible for estimating work (Primarily for concrete and 
carpentry trades).  This position also requires development of a wider customer 
base through new client contact.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·       Responsible for maintaining positive client relations.
·       Estimates, quotes and negotiates all proposals and change order with 
the client, subject to approval.
·       Coordinates/facilitates meetings as needed with client, design team, 
superintendents and services partners.
·       Maintain an efficient and accurate estimating system that provides easy 
communication of a project?s quality, quantities and cost.  It must allow easy 
modification of estimates to ensure that any changes are quickly reflected and 
communicated. 
·       Maintain and communicate a current knowledge of unit prices including 
industry trends and anticipated changes.  This includes managing job cost 
reports. 

OTHER FUNCTIONS:
·       Assists Design Group in permitting processes as needed.
·       Other duties as assigned from time to time by the President.

Requirements_Qualif: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
·       Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or 
equivalent experience.
·       Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with commercial and 
/ or industrial projects ranging in scope from 50,000 sf to 500,000 sf., and 
contract values of $50,000 to $1M.
·       Working knowledge and experience in concrete and carpentry.
·       Experience with computerized project management and estimating tools 
(i.e. scheduling, job cost, bid analysis software MC 2).
·       Experience with a Design/Build environment helpful, but not required. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
·       Ability to observe, visually and audibly, events at the jobsite.
·       Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
·       Provide a reliable vehicle for transportation between regional jobsites 
and to headquarters
·       Ability to perform time sensitive tasks concurrently

WORKING CONDITIONS:
·       Generally in-office work, with frequent visits to the jobsite(s) to 
check progress and status.
·       Overtime requirements vary with scope and timing of job(s).

·       Normal safety hazards associated with construction work.
