The Director of Operations will have responsibility for planning, developin=
g, implementing and directing effective processes to support manufacturing,=
 quality and cost goals.  Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position =
would fit the career development of a candidate with 10 years of progressiv=
ely responsible technical and manufacturing management assignments with 5 y=
ears of significant operational leadership responsibilities.

Specific duties include:
=EF=BF=BD Directing the company=EF=BF=BDs manufacturing operations and cust=
omer fulfillment to include production, shipping/receiving, prototype, qual=
ity and maintenance.
=EF=BF=BD Working with team members to implement flow process and Lean manu=
facturing.
=EF=BF=BD Providing leadership and cross-functional coordination of all act=
ivities including sales, project management, engineering, estimating, suppl=
y and customer service in order to achieve company quality, cost, and sched=
ule objectives.
=EF=BF=BD Developing and present departmental and operational program budge=
ts.
=EF=BF=BD Coaching Supervisors to coordinate the efforts of the staff to ac=
hieve specific production goals and objectives.
=EF=BF=BD Assuring that effective and efficient, processes are documented, =
implemented, and comply with the Company standards and all regulatory requi=
rements.
=EF=BF=BD Maintaining high level of employee involvement and satisfaction. =
Mentor, guide, and manage the direct reports.
=EF=BF=BD Providing leadership, guidance, and oversight for the successful =
introduction of new products into operations.
=EF=BF=BD Maintaining performance metrics to monitor progress and keeping m=
anagement informed of status, challenges, opportunities for improvement.
=EF=BF=BD Maintaining safe plant environment and compliance with all regula=
tions (OSHA/EPA).
=EF=BF=BD Managing company assets related to the manufacturing process incl=
uding equipment, inventory, and buildings.

unctional operations.

 on the production floor.
=EF=BF=BD Related Bachelor degree (business, engineering, etc.).
=EF=BF=BD Able to assess the =EF=BF=BDbig picture=EF=BF=BD quickly and hit =
the floor running with strong decision-making abilities.
=EF=BF=BD Knowledgeable and experienced with lean manufacturing and advance=
d quality systems.
=EF=BF=BD Strong interpersonal skills.
