Mission Statement: Responsibility for thoroughness and accuracy of Engineer=
ing documentation, to include Engineering Notifications, CAD files, OPW bus=
iness system and the PLM system.

Accountabilities:  Under the direction of an Engineering Manager, ensures t=
hat the Engineering notification process meets both the technical requireme=
nts of the Engineering function as well as the informational requirements o=
f other operational departments.  Support new product development and produ=
ct enhancement projects through Unigraphics CAD work, prototype assembly, i=
n-house lab testing and field testing.

Responsibilities: =20

=09Create/issue Engineering Change Notices (ECN) based on requireme=
nts as provided by Product Management, Design Engineering, Operations, Supp=
liers and regulatory agencies such as UL.
=09Evaluate change requests and when necessary, confer with the cha=
nge request originator to ensure complete understanding of the request.=20
=09Ensure accuracy of Engineering documentation in support of ECN g=
eneration.  This would include CAD files, appropriate Engineering functions=
 in the business system (Glovia), and in the PLM system (Teamcenter).  Inte=
rface as appropriate with other functional areas in execution of these resp=
onsibilities.
=09Provide support to operational departments as necessary after EC=
N=EF=BF=BDs are issued.
=09Provide training and direction on ECN process and CAD system to =
any new hires or existing design engineering team.
=09Coordinate and monitor ECN and other engineering work from offic=
e in India.
=09Responsible for internal controls (auditing) and procedures for =
effective ECN implementation.
=09Maintain and update ISO procedures for ECN process.

=09Provide CAD support in Unigraphics to new product development an=
d product enhancement projects as directed by Design Engineers or Engineeri=
ng management.
=09Provide support for in-house lab and field testing as required.

Minimum Requirements & Knowledge:

=091 to 2 year associates degree
=093D / 2D CAD experience

=09GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
=09Mechanical aptitude
=091 to 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment woul=
