ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to layout and design parts that meet client goals and o=
bjectives based on information received, and industry standards and specifi=
cations.

=EF=BF=BD=09Applies proper dimensioning and tolerancing principles to defin=
e allowable variation of parts and assemblies based upon the design functio=
nal specifications, and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Toleran=
cing.

=EF=BF=BD=09Prepares and/or reviews drawings and models from blueprints, de=
signs, mockups, sketches, and photoprints by methods and techniques suited =
to specified customer requirements.  Ability to work with engineers and/or =
other designers in order to carry out responsibilities.

=EF=BF=BD=09Responsible for drawing clarity, including layering, model orie=
ntation, database management, and fundamentals of CAD file organization.

=EF=BF=BD=09Generates and/or reviews engineering drawings and CAD files by =
being fluent in operation of CAD software such as: Pro/Engineer, Unigraphic=
s, CATIA, AutoCAD, Anvil, Solidworks, Solidedge, CADKey or other.

=EF=BF=BD=09Utilizes knowledge and understanding of views, sections, weld s=
ymbols and information drawing notes pertaining to materials, plating, heat=
 treat, etc., functional part dimensioning standard ANSI-Y14.5, DOD-100.

=EF=BF=BD=09Operates and is familiar with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft O=
ffice. =20

=EF=BF=BD=09Operates equipment such as computers, printers, plotters, phone=
s, fax machines, Internet browsers, email, copiers, and plotters as require=
d.
=EF=BF=BD=09Creates and writes procedures for others to follow in building =
and checking of drawings and models

=EF=BF=BD=09May teach, train, or direct others in software, dimensioning, o=
r other areas that relate to specific customer requirements and/or projects=
.

=EF=BF=BD=09Performs any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned to =
him/her on an as needed basis.

=EF=BF=BD=09Fills out all company documents such as timesheets, job trackin=
g logs, job notes database, gathers/records information from projects and l=
ogs accurately.

=EF=BF=BD=09Answers phone calls taking detailed messages that include calle=
r=EF=BF=BDs name, phone number, nature of call, dispatching messages in a t=
imely manor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, all individua=

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate Degree (AAS or AS) or equivalent fro=
m a two year college or technical school, related experience and/or trainin=
g; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have all sk=
ills as CAD Specialist III.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, an=
d memos of simple to medium complexity.
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to write simple, informative correspondence with proper=
 grammar and spelling.
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to effectively present information to other employees o=
f the organization or Project Leader.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of =
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and int=
erpret bar graphs.
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry and trigon=
ometry.

RESONONING ABILITY:
