connecting all persons to quality healthcare as well as connecting patients to 
more than 50 healthcare and social service agencies.

The HealthCare Connection is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 
budget of $6.1 million.  Revenue sources include Medicaid, Medicare, Private 
Insurance, State and Federal Grants, as well as Foundations, Corporations, and 
Private Funding. 
 
The organization is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as our Chief 
Fiscal Officer.  The CFO serves as a partner to the CEO in carrying out the 
vision of the organization while mainintaing sound fiscal operations.  With the 
ability to assist in the evaluation of expansion of services, the individual 
must also have the ability to conduct and assist staff with day to day 
activities.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:
�       Directing the preparation of all financial reports including income 
statements, balance sheets, tax returns, grant required reporting and any other 
financial reports for agencies, organizations, and the Board. 
�       Overseeing the finance, accounting, and IT functions of the 
organization 
�       Preparing organization budget and works with the management team for 
appropriate changes and provide direction to staff on fiscal matters 
�        Oversite of the audit function for the financial aspects of the 
organization 
�       Analyzing operations and making projections for budget balancing 
�       Studying organization and economic trends for long term projections 
�       Other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and 
other management as require

Requirements_Qualif: Requirements 

Education Requirements:
�       BS in related field Required 
�       MBA/MPA preferred 

Experience Requirements:  
�       7-10 years of experience in financial management, prefer experience in 
non-profit organization environment and/or with an FQHC 
�       Experience in an advisory role able to interact comfortably with all 
levels of staff, visitors, Board, and community 
�       Proven leadership and management skills 
�       HANDS-ON "DOER" with the ability to focus on detail and also see the 
"big picture" 
�       Results-oriented with the ability to evaluate processes, recommend 
improvements, and bring projects to closure
