JobDescript: This position exists to load test software from a system 
perspective before it is released to LexisNexis customers. The quality of this 
testing has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, product reliability and 
product performance. The incumbent must be able to design load tests to develop 
data on performance, capacity and stability, run load tests and gather data and 
analyze the data.

 

1. BS degree or equivalent experience with load testing software  
2. Ability to work independently 
3. Excellent communication skills 
4. Ability to provide both detail information and also summarize to a 
management level 
5. Tenacity; ability to work through problems and reach a solution 
6. Ability to learn large complex systems 
7. Ability to work in ambiguous situations 
8. Background in computer science, information systems, systems analysis
9. Background in Mercury Load Runner and SAS a plus

 

BS degree preferred areas of concentration:
System engineering
Statistics
Mathematics
Java programming
