e requirements specification construction and is responsible for all activi=
ties related to the development of quality requirement specifications for e=
ach product/service line.  Business Analysts will focus on coordination and=
 completion of the requirements specifications phase, coordinate meetings a=
nd elicit information from development, and contribute during the Business =
Analysis phase.  The completion of the SRS document will be the responsibil=
ity of the Business Analyst but will be overseen and managed by the Require=
ments Manager.  Additionally, the Business Analyst will have the necessary =
time to conduct critical end user interviews, researching customer and mark=
et information, obtain information from professional services, working with=
 marketing, sales and other internal organizations. =20

Principal Responsibilities:

=EF=BF=BD=09Function as a liaison and advisor in analysis and evaluation of=
 hospital, physician and lab user needs and serve as the expert resource fo=
r assisting end users in identifying business requirements and planning sys=
tem development needs.
=EF=BF=BD=09Coordinate and manage Business Analysis of new requirements and=
 complete all appropriate documentation.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Coordinate and manage Requirements Analysis of new requirements=
 and complete the construction of Software Requirements Specification docum=
ent.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Coordinate meetings and work closely with all internal organiza=
tions to elicit information during the Business Analysis and Requirements A=
nalysis phases.
=EF=BF=BD=09Work closely with development and all functional departments, t=
o insure accuracy in the information represented in the Business Analysis a=
nd Requirements documents.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Adhere to the processes and methodologies defined for requireme=
nts development.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Work with end users and customers to elicit information.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Analysis and interpretation of information gathered in order to=
 define the most effective solutions to the requirements being worked on.
=EF=BF=BD=09Documentation of all requirements in a clear, concise, and prof=
essional manner that can be read by multiple audiences. =20
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to work on multiple requirement projects simultaneously=
. =20

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
=EF=BF=BD=09Healthcare IS experience and/or a combination of electronic pre=
scription processing, automated online insurance and payer services, Electr=
onic Medical Records (EMR) systems, Practice Management systems (PMS), Medi=
cal Billing systems, Computer-based Patient Record systems, Laboratory Info=
rmation Systems (LIS) and Document Management Systems.

=EF=BF=BD=09Polished written and communication skills
=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to conduct presentations
=EF=BF=BD=09Technical understanding of enterprise and web based systems

=EF=BF=BD=09Ability to evaluate and manage system functional details to det=
ermine all potential problems are identified and the most effective solutio=
n to the problems are identified.
