We are currently seeking Accounting Manager candidates for a key role in our 
accounting department.  You will report to a dynamic Controller and be part of 
an energetic accounting team.

This position will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of all general 
accounting functions, various reports and special projects. 

Responsibilities

*Coordinate monthly and annual financial period. 
*Ensure accuracy of account balances and proper reflection of the company's 
financial performance. 
*Ensure preparation of various financial and managerial reports.
*Analyze financial statements by preparing and reviewing account analyses and 
reconciliations.  
*Develop, maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with accounting policies and 
procedures.
*Prepare and file sales tax returns and coordinate tax return preparation with 
external auditors.
*Review customer contracts and ensure revenue is being recognized correctly. 
*Interact with external auditors and consultants. 
*Assist on special projects as needed.

Requirements_Qualif: Requirements:  
  
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 
*Possess a complete understanding of the accounting process and how the income 
statement and balance sheet interrelate. *Should also possess an understanding 
of the business cycle and how various business processes effect income and 
balance sheet items. 
*Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with employees from other 
departments as well as employees above and below the direct chain of command. 
*Strong understanding of GAAP with solid accounting background. 
*5 years experience with minimum 2 years public accounting.
*Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
*Attention to detail and extremely organized with a desire for meeting deadlines
*Confident self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction
*Strong software skills and accounting systems (Great Plains experience a plus)
